Welcome to the Biomedical Engineering
Society website!
The BMES is an association formed by students,
coming together to develop, promote and explore the fascinating
applications of technology in medicine. We also assist students
in making a career in this fast growing field of engineering.
The society is also a means of increasing student-professor
interaction to promote the newly founded department of Biomedical
Engineering. Students gain insight into the current technology
through regular talks, seminars or onsite demonstration by
experts in the field including, doctors, professors and members
of the industry. These sessions are also open to talks or
presentations by fellow members on their research and experiences
at work.
Members consist of both undergraduate and graduate students.
